Intel ICC compiled MySql

I have found a few articles now claiming it is faster. Has anyone tried this with VB?

We used to use it, but got tired of the ICC compiled versions lagging way behind the current community released version.

Peter Zaitsev from the MySQL performance group told us that he had seen problems arise from the ICC enabled versions, but we hadn't ever run into them.

We currently roll our own MySQL based on the most recent community src.
