Vote to Ban User?
 

I'm looking for an addon that would allow members to vote to ban a user. If the votes reach a pre set number, the user would be banned for a set time.

Is there a product like this out yet?

You can do it with the reputation system. If they receive so many negative reputation points you can do a promotion into the banned usergroup. You can do this in default vB.

Any idea how one would set this so it removes them from thebanned secondary group after X amount of time?

I'd like to get this setup so X negative reps set off the promotion to add the seconary group Banned but right now we have to manually unban them still.

And you can't use the rep system to ban people. If you did this, the bans would be permanent with no reason. Use infractions and points to do this.
