Move TODAYS POSTS into the main nav bar

How can I move the TODAYS POSTS from the Quick Links drop down menu to the main navigation bar? Like this:

In navbar template where you see:

   </if>

Add after:

<!-- today's posts -->

   <if condition="$vboptions['enablesearches']">
