Hey guys, I was looking to try and do something about post count with my sub-forums. Is there a way to make it so that the sub-forums posts/threads DO NOT contribute to the front page posts/threads that are shown for the parent forum?

For example, I have a forum 'General Discussion' at my video game site, and within the general discussion section, I have a Advertising sub-forum. There are only 8 threads in the General Discussion, but 20 in the advertising. On the main page it appears as 28 topics when I only want it to show 8.

I currently have version 3.6.8 intalled.

Can anybody help me here?
