How to change upper right corner..

Hello to everyone...

I was wondering if anyone knows how i could change the upper right corner of the forum, where the "Welcome, username", "You have x unread messages" etc is displayed, so that i can add a picture there.

When i try to edit the template by simply adding the picture, everything goes of the pre-defined space this section has and disappears.

Can i change it's size, or layout, so that i have the picture and then the data next to it, instead of under or above it?

Any help would be appreciated.
