How in the world does this work?
Being a new user of vBulletin, I'm having a bit of an issue trying to get up certain mods. I have no trouble uploading the product and then editing the template coding, but when it comes down to doing whatever I need to do with the .php file, I'm lost.
Take, for example, the Quick Account Switch mod, which I've been working on getting up for a while. The template editing and the product uploading was no problem at all, but I have no idea what to do with the qas.php file. I know I have to do something, because every time I try to link through admin cp it tells me "The pathway to admincp/qas.php was not found" or something to that effect. Where do I put it, and how? Thanks in advance for your help, and sorry for sounding like a complete and total moron with this. |
Usually the instructions come with the mod. Or, when you unzip it, there are folders to show where it goes. For instance, a folder "forum" which then contains a folder "admincp" and then contains qas.php. In that example, you would then upload qas.php into your admincp folder in your forum folder.

You should really direct questions like this to the actual Modification's thread, as you're more likely to get help from someone who has had the same issue (or the author if the modification is supported).
