Exclude forums fro new posts function?
 

Is there any easy way to exclude specific forums from the 'new posts' function?

If not, I guess it wouldn't be that with a few lines of code using a plugin. Could anyone kindly provide the code?

When you make the forum, click no on the option thats says forum is open to new posts.

But it should be open to new posts, that's the point. It's a news forum with lots of posts by the RSS bot, and members where complaining about posts from that forum flooding the bew posts function.
