template question

Hi,

I am trying to insert a javascript banner below $headinclude and above $header at the top and another javascript banner along the right edge of the page to the right of $faqbits but having trouble.

I've tried to edit the template in the template editor under admin as well as downloading vbulletin-style.xml editing it by hand and uploading it without any luck.

The banners do not show up at all.

I would appreciate any suggestions.
