Hidden forum as on this site?

Is it possible to make hidden forums with catagory's like it is done on vbulletin.org?

As in the Forums, articles, mods and styles forums are hidden on the rest. How to do this?

Make the category with a display order of 0 (zero). You can then access those categories by linking to them directly.

Could you make it access them through a whole other domain?

EG i have leetzone.co.uk go to my main forums(dutch), but i want lzforums.com link to the english ones.

If these domains present different content (ie. appear as stand alone forums depending on the domainname), then it will need 2 licenses.

Edit: PS Why do you want a dutch board to have the .co.uk TLD?

Figured i'd need 2 licenses.

But do i also need 2 licenses if i just want it to be the same forum (not the same posts) with exactly the same boards etc. Just an english board for english people to post on. So dutch and english doesn't get mixed through eachother.

I'm the new owner of this forum, and the old owners wouldnt give the rest of domains they had.. The worst part is that when i wanted to buy a domain somewhat normal they illegally bought all of the domains except .co.uk.. So i didnt really have another choice.

EDIT:

MrPHD i saw your mod, it isn't what im looking for.

If both URL's lead to the same board and content (so everyone will be able to see both English and Dutch posts and it will look like 1 board) then you can default a domain to a subforum with only 1 license.

As soon as it appears as 2 seperate boards, then it will need seperate licenses.

There are a few threads on vb.com that show examples of both situations.

Collussus, you can see my web site and to hiden Categorys and forums using diferents Templates use - Forums & Moderators - Add New Forum - Option: Forum is Active (Will not appear if set to no, but remains accessible if the forum's URL is known) Put NO and goes to NavBar template and add on the Link to Forum or Category. To use difetents Template goes to Style Option when create a Forum and on the midle see Custom Style for this Forum and choose template what you want to use. Regards

I want one domain to lead to one subforum, and another to my main board.

But in the navbar there will be a link to both the english and the dutch forum. Does this count as looking like one board?

Most likely (can not give a real answer until i see it) that would only require 1 license.
