Minor features you miss?
 
When trying to use forums not powered by vBulletin? Not things like the look, or major stuff, just really minor things you don't usually think about. For me, it's probably a few things:

1. Smiley name on mouse over. When some boards not using vBulletin use really obscure smilies, the lack of a title means you have to guess what they mean by the image URL.

2. Topic preview on title hover. A short preview of the topic been displayed basically.

OH, did i mention this was one of the main feature announced by phpBB at first?!
