Can't install new games
 

Upgraded to the newest (2.6.6+) arcade and am running VBulletin 3.6.8 patch level 2....everytime I try to install a new game I keep getting that the CHMOD is not set to 777...I go thru the FTP and set the new game to 777 and it does change it(after double checking)...but I keep getting the same error when I try to install it....any help please...thanks in advance.

which folder ?

Arcade/Tar folder....and I keep getting the error no matter what game I try to install....never had a single prob with the last release of Arcade except for the occational error (but the game still worked)...please help...before I have a riot on my hands...LOL

All is cool bro...I figured it out....somehow the main GameData folder got deleted ??? Whatever...all is right in the game world...riot has been averted...LOL...thread closed...LOL

I'm having this problem too. I wasn't having any problems uploading games to 2.6.6 in vB 3.6.8 until about two days ago, when I start getting this error:

" /home/constan1/public_html/forums/arcade/gamedata is write-protected. Please change CHMOD to 0777 via FTP. "

I think I've set it to 777... I checked and double checked. Not sure what the problem is.
