New users cant post links?
 

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew of a hack that allowed me to stop certain usergroups from posting links? I was hoping to have a special usergroup for new members with less than 10 posts which would not allow them to post links. I recon this would help with a good bit of the spam. i run a health site so get a lot!!

they prob need to verify there username before posting...check your register page set-up on your vbulletins admin control panel

You can set a usergroup to not allow links can't you ?
I think so...

Easier to just stop them (bots) from registering in the first place, lots of mods available here to do just that

Loco.M, you can't do that.
