Personally I don't think hiding your forum's content from guests is the way to go for community sites. Getting people to sign up for an empty forum is hard enough, nevermind one they can't read.

The skin's nice though, good set of icons and such. Logo could use some work, other than that it's pretty good.

I have now changed the settings so that guests can now view thread content.

You should remove the Guest welcome message from the forumhome template since you are using the Welcome Notices.

Other then that, not to bad so far.

Getting there! :) Your rank images are broken currently though. Nice clean skin, I'd darken the background color juuust a little bit so that the actual forum tables pop a bit more.

The only other thing I can offer as a suggestion is to trim down the number of forums until you have a solid base amount of posts. 5-8 forums with a lot of posts in them is much more appealing to potential members than 20+ forums with only a few. I'd combine a few forums for starters and start branching out once you get a solid memberbase.

For me, its too bright on the eyes. I would changed the left and right spaces to a darker color, like VB have done here. I tend to stay clear of forums that put strain on the eyes.

As I'm not any good with styles could you point me into the direction so I could do this?

vbskinworks.com is a great site for styles.
