vB Promotional Codes
 

I thought of this idea today and I think most people would find it useful especially for users running a paid service on their forum.

What this hack would do is, upon registration, the user could enter in a "promotional code" to get a discount on your paid for service which COULD integrate with vB's Paid Subscription service.

With this you could use the promotional code as a way of advertising for new users and at the same time earn money for your service.

The downfall would be having to watch out for users that are already signed up, re-registering to gain access to your service for a discount.

I'd like to hear some ideas you guys have and if anyone would like to take on the project that would be great.
