Show old "events" in the frontpage "what's going on" event section?
 
I was sent here from the vb site. Can anyone help or explain what is needed to show old calendar events in the frontpage "what's going on" section". Ideally i want to have the last 6 months appearing.

LOAD TIMES is not an issue, this is a closed board and we want to use events for announcements, with past announcements/events being visible to all.
