Usergroup Post Reporting Permissions
Per Usergroup Post Reporting Permissions
What does this do? I recently banned a member on my forum and soon thereafter began receiving dozens of bogus post reports by him. I thought to myself, whatever, I'll just go and restrict that Usergroup from being able to report posts. I go to the Usergroup Manager and I'm shocked to discover that there is no default option to control Post Reporting Permissions on the Usergroup level! Eek! So in a nutshell, this is just a simple one liner plugin that'll show any Usergroup you disallow from being able to report posts a nice pretty No Permission message when they try to Report one. Installation 1. Download the attached ZIP Archive. 2. Upload the includes/xml folder to your forum (don't worry it's not overwriting anything, just adding my bitfield) 3. Import the Product XML through the Product Manager. 4. By default all Usergroups are set to NOT be able to Report posts, so I'd suggest you change that to suit your needs. If you use this, please click Install. |
Can I say?
I was thinking... in such case they never get tired from reporting? |
usually banned members cant report posts cause they cant browse the forum. this means that u had given permission to banned members to read threads

Hmm, you got a good point here for banned members to view the forum still. nice hack!

Any problems with this in 3.7? I attempted to install it and it seemed to install successfully but I couldn't find the option in my admincp.
