Database error..This is the error message
 

Hi,i was just installing the new vb plaza and something went wrong.Now i m gerring a database error.

this is the error message

"mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111)
/var/www/html/forums/includes/class_core.php on line 274"

No error number is given.

Can someone please help me out...?

This error means either:
1. The info in your config.php file is wrong (in which case your forums wouldn't work at all), or
2. MySQL crashed, it's not running or it can't find the socket. You need to contact your host about this. Here is more info on this error:

Hi,thanks for the reply......i have not made any changes to the config.php file.Will installing the hack cause any change to the file automatically...?

anyways......i did a server restart and the site is back up again....so it might have been that MySQL crashed when that hack was installed...
