WE DO! Cant wait for it to start this week! The first few shows are always a riot!!

Who is your favorite judge and why?

Who was you all time fav contestants? Worst, that made it far or won?

I'ma huge Carrie Underwood fan!

I really like Simon.. Even when he is a pretentious jerk.

Is it me or does Paula seem like she comes to the show loaded, slurring sometimes? :erm:

Our whole family sits and watches the show, My 6 year old has been asking for the last few weeks when it comes back on. lol.. Such genuine American family. HAHA

From the title I was thinking "AI.... the movie? Is there a new 'Artificial Intelligence' show on TV or something?"

I wish this show would get canned, only fun part of it is watching the horrible people try out in the beginning:D.

What kinds of music do you like no mods?

You dont like any of the winning contestants.. Most of them have double platinum albums. Carrie Underwood, Clay Aiken, Kelley Clarkson, Bo Bice, Bucky Covington, Chris Daughtry??

It's one of my favorite shows too. I've been a fan since a beginning. I think a large part is credited to Simon. Yeah, he can be extremely direct but he's often right. He's very large in the music industry so like him or not, he has the credentials. This season will be exciting.

I think in all seasons combined my favorites are: Melinda Doolittle (not one song did she falter; song to remember "My Funny Valentine"), Fantasia ("Summertime"), Tamira Gray ("House Is Not A Home").

I think I watched and episode once before. I don't watch reality television shows such as this because I record everything with Tivo and watch it later. When ever someone I know finds out I watch these kinds of shows, they call me up 10 minutes after the episode and tell me everything that happened. So why bother?

Hehe no cant say that I like any music from AI. Im into classic rock and some new rock. The new show Rock band (I think its called that) I kinda watched, but it seems to have vanished.

American Idol has to be the biggest scam going, Personally (I know, I never have anything nice to say) but I think the winner is determined after the auditions. The main reason I watched it before was primarily for the auditions, they are extremely hilarious, and it only becomes funnier when you get the "sobers" entering and crying when they don't go through to the next round. Heck, they come in and sing like Celine Dion and wonder why the following comment is either "you'd make a good karaoke singer" or "you remind me of one of those singers in a mexican bar". I'm not an avid fan of the show but it really angered me when Carrie Underwood and bo Bice made it to the final and it was clear to me who was the best singer and Carrie Underwood sang like crap. I think that was the turning point for me when shows such as these can't be taken seriously and at the same time exploit the contestants who have made it to the latter stages of the contest.

Of course it's not all bad, Simon does his little bit to spice the show up which would otherwise be a total waste of time without his presence.

One thing I'd like to see more is simon being more brutal, IMO I think he has softened a little as the series have passed. More brutality I think and less singing. :D
