i know its probably silly but dont laugh...and please help

when someone registers they autmatically go to noob...however i have i want the ladies to automatically go into ladies as their primary group...right now i have to check all the noobs to see which ones are ladies and than add them into ladies group..is their anyway upon registering it filters and automatically enters males in noobs..and females in ladies making noob their secondary...

i currently have 3.6.8.pl2 version..hope someone can help

There is a modification that assigns a usergroup upon registration, based on a profile field.
