Virus software? Whats the best?
 

What kind of virus software do you use on your home pc, why do you use it?

Also which other programs have you used in the past, likes and dislikes about them.

Whats the BEST?

Can you tell my virus software is almost up for renewal?:p

i always suggest to buy a Mac, this is the best answer someone can get.. lol

but aside of being picky, i would take the software at the base... http://symantec.com ... they are the ones with the quickest updates, because they are the ones providing the virus alerts on the net...

Free, very light weight, constant database updates, etc.

WHo else? No one else has an opinion?

I've tried a handful and I like Kaspersky the best now. AVG screwed me over big time last year so I learned my lesson and went with a proper paid solution.

It's a bit of a resource hog though.

Best Advice you could give to a person :]

I tend to use Antivirus software more than virus software ;)

LOL, I use Mcafee right now but its running so much (processes) and even on my monster of a machine it is mean when it does its checks.. I set it late at night to run its checks but sometimes I,m up tinkering with my site. shshshs thats when the house is quite haha.

Not to mention they charge an arm and a leg.
