Disallow guests to view forum threads (but NOT the Search bots)
 
I want to disallow guests (not logged in) to view thread content.
I have set the "Can View Thread Content" to No for the usergroup Guests / Not logged in but it also disallow the search bots (Google, Yahoo) to view and save in search engine's cache, the threads. :(

I have no problem if users can get the threads' content e.g. on Google's cache. I want to disallow the viewing 'cause it increase the registered users.

Any idea to allow Bots to view threads' content?

Search Engine Bots will alwaysfollow the permissions of guests. Changing this could result in removal from SE's for Cloaking.
