We've started working with Vbulletin recently, and we are looking to employ it as a means of monitoring jobs and distributing them. To do this, we are looking to integrate two columns in the thread view; Responsible for job and Progress.

There is a snag though, that makes the integration a bit beyond me, and that lies in checking authentication, or rather knowing who has access to change those two boxes. (Should be only moderators, or only admins.)

A brief note with the basics of how to do this would be much appreciated. :)
