Make Screenshots visible to Guest
 

Ok i want to buy VB in two months b/c things are going that good right now and i can't see a darn screenshot of any mods, styles. WTH man? its just screenshots I'm not gonna hijack a free mod / style by seeing it screens.

come on its just pictures.

Um, screenshots are visible to guests.

permissions are basic for guests, even if your wish is not harmful. you can ask btw, some questions related to your requests/needs, so we can tell you if the tool you require exists or not...

Ok I'm registered and i can't click on Screen shots of any mod it tells me that I'm unlicensed.

Oh, you mean click on them - nope, sorry you cannot do that, you can only see what's visible in the posts. That isn't going to change anytime soon, and probably not at all.

Is there an actual reason for that? Because guests don't really get much idea what it's like from a tiny thumbnail sized image or ten.

one reason would be bandwidth... you are never sure if these guests will ever buy a license, and giving bandwidth just for lurkers is not paying a bit...

this site is a "after-sales" service...

The graphics section has alot of their previews with the images in it that are basically the full image just shrunk. This prevents people from getting these for free.

We have no plans to change the attachment permissions for guests.
