Tagged Mods
just wondering: what means "Tagged Modifications" in the User CP?
thx (merry xamas) |
It lists all mods you have tagged. :)
|
ehheheh OK Paul :D I understand that ... :D
so the question is: how i can tag a mod? (maybe you mean Installed, Downloaded etc.) :) |
Nope, it means tagged.
On any mod you click the Edit Settings, and then tick the "Tag" option. |
now i understand ... :)
thx Paul ;) |
Tagging a mod is useful if you see something that you are interested in for your site but you cannot download it immediately or mark it installed. I do this for mods that are interesting but people are experiencing a lot of problems with. If the problems get fixed then I can download it and install it.

I use it for a similar thing, to tag mods I may be interested in at some point.
|
Hmm. Maybe I should consider doing this rather than bookmarking them via browser.

I use the tagging feature in a manner similar to Wayne... I tag modifications that show promise & I want to keep an eye on and also for modifications that I don't currently have a need for but are interesting enough that I want to keep them 'tagged' for the future if I find myself being able to use one of them. |
Seems efficient and convenient. For the same reasons as you guys, I'll start using the mod tag. :)
