vb.org Archive - Username Approving At Sign Up?

Im really looking for a system to have members need to get their usernames approved by a mod or admin. Ive been having lots of problems with bad usernames. Thus requiring me to PM them or Email get them to respond then its just a huge mess.

Im just looking for a simple system. To have their name be guest# or user# until the name is approved after registration.

If anyone knows a way or if their is something im Missing please let me know.
