Bandwidth Limit?

I am right now getting this error and I am suppose to have unlimited anything. I have contacted my hosting service via email but I just don't understand this We only have 7 members? WTF I am just up to the head with all of this that is going on. And the problem is that I don't know when or if I will hear from him. Any suggestions?

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to the site owner reaching his/her bandwidth limit. Please try again later.
Apache/2.0.61 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.0.61 OpenSSL/0.9.7a FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 mod_bwlimited/1.4 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 PHP/5.2.5 Server at www.sobernclean.com Port 80

It is weird. I have the same problem. I thought I was ddos attacked. I don't know much about technicalities, but that is what I believed with me. I too had like 10 members at the time it happened. As for the unlimited, that is up to you and your host.

Well since it seems to be so hard to get ahold of him and that this is really my main baby I just got another host for this site. Ugghhh Oh well life goes on and on and on LMAO :p

oh BTW thanks for the response I have been up all day now for almost 24 hours and it is only 4:30 am here. My dog is quite upset to say the least. :D

If not your fault, its nothing that you have done that has used the bandwidth.
The person who provides you with hosting has obviously overloaded his reseller.

Things like "unlimited" Simply do not exist in the hosting buisness.
If a deal is to good to be true it more often then not is.

As far as anybody is concerned, "unlimited" doesn't exist in anything.

I wouldn't mind getting my hands on an "unlimited drive" lmao

How can you have unlimited?

The server, as with anything else in life, must have a physical limit imposed on it.

Unlimited is a marketing ploy. Unlimited only means "As much as we can give you without impacting our business"

TCE Killa 12-28-2007 09:17 PM

What hosting website are you with?

Snake 12-28-2007 11:05 PM

Just to let you know that there's no such thing as unlimited. Most of the hosts out there cannot provide unlimited space and/or bandwidth. There's a slight possibility for bandwidth, but never for space.

TCE Killa 12-29-2007 09:28 AM

^What happens if you run up the space with your host? Do they shut you down?
