Is it possible to password an ordinary non-forum page?
I've looked at all the free javascript/DHTML codes out there, but they're either kind of ungainly or they're aimed at serious protection. I want to use this for games.
What I want is for someone to be able to go to a web page, solve a puzzle, and then the puzzle answer would be the password into the next page. I want the password to work like it does for forums: it's just a form, and if you enter the password you get in. (No popups, no entering your username, no script-alert warnings.) If this is possible, I'll ask for specifics in the Paid Modifications forum (I'm not trying to get a whole long answer here for free), I just want to know if this can be done. Thanks for your time. :) |
