Preferred Name
 

I'm not sure where to post this as this may be classed as a modification, but it's something that I would really like to have implemented on my board.

On the registration page, for there to be a field which says "Your Preferred Name". When they submit that form / login each time, I want the redirection message to say their preferred name instead of their username.

For instance,

They sign up as username leigh, their preferred name is Joe Bloggs.

The system would say:

Welcome, Joe Bloggs

But they would still sign in as leigh (username)

Surely someone can help?
I know that photopost official site does this.
