Error
My site has a database error and I don't know why.
Can anyone help me on what to do? My site is: http://www.disneymagiconline.com Thanks so much VS |
Usually the mysql errors are sent to your email. Are you getting them? You should post what the error is from that email so we can help you.

Ok well this is the error:
Code:
Database error in vBulletin : |
MySQL Error : Access denied for user 'disneyma_disneym'@'localhost' to database 'disneyma_site'
Check your config.php to see if the MySQL user and password are correct. |
Well when I went into the forum root, there was no config.php file
I went into the cpanel as well, and it says there are no databases associated with your account. Is that why? |
config.php located in include folder.
use any FTP client and go in include / config.php and check your database user name and password and be sure details are correct. |
Thanks but there is no database in the cpanel for me to associate it with.
Im gonna have to start over I think |
than make a new data base if you dont have and than edit the config.php

Well your db just wouldnt vanish, do you have root access to the server? Have you contacted your host and asked for a backup, i assume the server has nightly backups, they should be able to provide you with a backup db from last night at least. |
I fired one of my staff members and he had cpanel access so he deleted it.
I have found a copy of the database I had so I just want to restore it now. I have changed the details but still get this error: Code:
