Important - Please Help
 

One of my staff members installed something which when you try to get into the admin cp, a pop-up comes up for extra security.
However, they didnt give me a username and password so I need to remove it.
Can anyone please help?

It sounds like they set up htaccess to the area. You would need to have access to the server in order to take away the htaccess protection of that folder.

Why don't you ask this staff member to either give you the access details or remove the protection.

Asking others how to avoid a protection sounds like you want to do something that the board owners don't agree with.

I am the owner of the site and this staff member put this on without my knowing.
He then wouldn't give me the details saying he already had when he hadn't.
I found the problem. It was a .htaccess file in the /admincp folder.
