vb.org Archive - photo downloading & gallery- need input

I am looking for a way to integrate photo downloading from the web with a Vb gallery. Right now, I am using neodownloader to get the photos and have yet to find a good gallery for my vb. (photos currently reside in photobucket, and I can make threads and copy the URLs in, but am looking for more of a true gallery. Plus, this is all tome consuming.)

I installed photoplog, but then read that images had to be uploaded 1 by 1. Is that correct? I (literally) have over 1000 images to upload, so that would not work.

I have read about photopost, but it is a bit pricey, esp. considering vb b3.8 will have a gallery. It might be more palatible to me if it had the downloading feature- does anyone know if it does?

Any advice or suggestions of other software would be greatly appreciated!
