Review my website.

Just finished it few days ago.

Please be painfully honest, so I can see where I have to improve.

The style is quite boring, but it's clean, you should look into getting a unique style made.

The archive numbers on the bottom of the page are confusing, & seem pointless when you have an archive link right above them.

Looking at the content, there isn't much, but what you do have is mostly high quality, pretty good for a few days.

Sorry to bump a really old topic, but since browsing your site I want to review it now as well. The first thing I can say is that the style does rather fit the forum, as it's a futuristic and modern kind that I'd expect from a webmaster type forum or an Administrator forum. However, you do seem to have a lot of forums, and a few could either be cut down or filled up with topics. These forums should be filled with content but currently aren't:
  1. Managing a Community- other admin forums use as a catch all forum for other stuff relating to managing a community not in more specific forums.
  2. The Software Lounge- should have some topics about less known forum software like Yabb, Wowbb or maybe even free hosted forums.
  3. Traffic and Revenue- Should be catch all for other traffic and revenue gaining tips.
  4. You also have three empty General Discussion forums with unusual names. I cannot help with telling what to fill them with without a bit more description.
You need to also maybe announce the forum is open, and maybe make an introduction or encourage them a bit?

You picked a decent niche though, it's now rather empty (about three decent competitors from what I know). Good, because general webmaster forums are extremely oversaturated. Go do your best to conquer this opportunity (since there are currently no admin boards in the Big Boards directory).

Maybe add some more BB code? It's still at default. However, nice smiley set.

Edit Web Chat layout to have a site logo there, and remove this:

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/

And this:

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/

Some add ons also might be needed here, but I'm not sure what to recommend. A SEO add on or ten might be quite good. Maybe use an email or hosting mod to attract members? Could work.

My final comment though is that you need some more article length pieces of content. You can either look up what your competitors have and ask the authors for permission (the authors may actually be members here), or write up some unique new articles. Give tips, advice and content. That will then be a reason for people to visit and join other than to just chat. An article modification would be good here as well.

Overall it's nice though.

The first time I visited your forum you where using vbulletin and then a week later phpbb and then back to vbulletin with a different domain name. A little confusing because I took the time to register at your forum only to come back and found that my credentials were not working.

Anyway, The style looks nice but it looks awfully like http://forum.vbulletinsetup.com/? I never did like the login area to the left of the style and it's a little distracting to be honest.

Nothing more to say about the style as it's doing it's job and looking nice though I personally think you should go about changing the default vb stock like the subforum icons & post icons.

Goodluck with this forum.

Sorry for changing it around. I will be keeping this now. :D Yeah, the style does look like vb setup, I really liked the skin and setup of vbsetup so I decided to use similar setup. Brandon doesn't mind.

Ah good. Brandon will put you in the right direction. I'm looking forward in seeing what direction you go with this site. Just a little bit of advice, Obviously, your interests are in graphic design so I would suggest that you don't overdo it with so many areas that you will have to manage. Concentrate in building up your graphic resources first, then add other forums bit by bit enough that you build up an active user base and it becomes self sustaining. :)
