Help please - styles choice problem

Hi,
I have 8 styles on my board. Some users of the board and I are experienceing the problem that we get "bounced" out of the style we choose back into the default style when we navigate around the board; i.e., we choose a style, then try going to a thread or likewise, only to have the default style reappear -- even though another style is chosen in the UserCP, and even though the Quick Style Chooser is also used to change styles as well as the UserCP. So far it's only some users experiencing this problem, not all, and it seems to be linked with using the Quick Style Chooser to switch between styles, and maybe a persistant cookie. Logging completely out then logging back in does not cure the problem.

Using vB 3.6.8 Patch Level 2.

Can anyone please help on this?

I had this problem before, setting up the "Cookie Domain" Fixed it for me.(vbulletin options > Cookie and HTTP Header Option.)

In the forum manager make sure that the style setting

"Override users defualt style" is set to no

Just tried this out, specifying the domain as a custom cookie domain, but it did not work; as soon as I tried switching, it would not take -- in fact the choice in the UserCP appears useless under the circumstances, the UserCP Options field for "Style" simply not working; while the Quick Selector actually worked, it works only for that page, and as soon as switching to a different page, back again one gets shoved into the default style.

Not a problem here; I just double-checked and no subforum is selected at all for over-riding with style.

Again, would be grateful for all help on this.
