vBulletin 4.0 ... what is it?

I have seen 4.0 mentioned in many different places. People talk about it in a way which makes me think that they have some type of information about it. Tried to search the forum but with no success.

When is it supposed to come out. 2008, 2009... ?
What chenges will be implemented?

Thank You!

No one knows what it will contain, or when it will be released.

We do know it will be the next version after 3.7

Based on previous trends, I would personally expect it in 2009.

LOL :D you're very optimistic!

let's trust the 3.6.8's 'Bug Traction' ;)

I would guess at least a wait till fall 09, if not longer. HIGHLY unlikely to see it anytime next year.

3.8 then 3.9 then 4.0

2010-2011

Lol, let's not get ahead of ourselves now! Let's go through 3.7 first! Just like 3.6, we will be going through other sub versions for 3.7 (i.e. 3.7.1, 3.7.5, etc..)

If you read the announcements, you would know there will not be a 3.8 or 3.9.
