Seperate Post Count for Specific Forum Section?
 

On my forum, we are strict on our post counts. So we disabled post counts on our off topic section. With this disabled, our traffic and activity decreased. Is it possible to have the off topic section have its own Post counter?

For example, on my postbit it says:

Post Count: 1,621
OT Count: 465

I doubt there is a mod out there that already does this. But if you were to do this you would have to create a new column in the User table with the "OT Count" then run plugins to update the OT count when someone submits a newthread/newreply. I'm not sure how complicated it is, if you know PHP you could try messing around yourself on a test board or something. Otherwise you would have to hire someone.
