User cannot login - wrong password ? need help pls
 

Hi everybody,

Im having some problem in my board, when a user registered an account and logged in. Everything was working well. But when he logged out and try to login again. He received a messange that It was wrong password. Please try again.

And when he created another acc, and login, logout , then login the same problem came.

This problem came for only 2 users not all of my users. But i just dont know how to fix it, what is problem with it...

if anyone in here know about it, pls help me to resolve it.

If it is only for two users on your entire board it is most likely that they are using incorrect passwords. (Passwords are case sensitive they may have caps-lock on or something). Disable any modifications you have and run the login tests again. Try registering yourself as another user and logging in and out with that to see if you experience any problems. Though I would guess its more a end-user problem as opposed to one with your board.

Thank you, i have try to register and login logout by myself. So for me i have no problem with this. I just said my members to try to use 123456 to his password. but same problem.

I will try to do something..and if anybody knows about default settings for cookies of VBB ?

maybe it was problem of cookies.

Have them empty their browsers cache and any stored cookies... reset their passwords.

thank you for your help. I have changed my setting for cookies like defaul and creat a user for him through ACP.now seems everythings working well :)
