I'm not sure if this should be something posted in the Hacks Forum or not, but I'll start here and let the Moderators decide.

I've added a new field in the register templates, postbit template and edit profile template. This new field is displayed under the username, date joined, avatar, etc. Based upon what the user enters in that field, I'd like to make it "searchable".

In other words, the user can now enter the particular automobile that they own and it will show up under their username in posts/replies. How can I make this "searchable" just like searching for "keywords" or username?

You would have to hack this in so would you like this to be moved to the hacking forum?

We will be putting this capability into v2.1.
