Is It Possible To Limit # Of Posts In A Section Per Day / Week?

See I have a section on www.bzimage.org for Forum Games, where people just reply to a question and the threads can get very big very fast!

Which would not be a problem accept that I am paying people big money once they reach 1,000+ posts and it is currently a fast way to get to that mark....

So I need to know if it is possible to limit them to like 5 posts per day in that section? It would also encourage them to post other places and such.

If you mean in default vb, then no, it's not possible.

If you mean could a modification do it then, yes, it would be possible.
