Old templates

i went threw that phase where i added every hack on vb.org and now i have a mess. i have templates that were added by plugins. when i uninstalled some of these plug ins it did not remove the templates and they are not revertable. everytime i add a style it adds these uneeded templates.

so my question is tonight i was was playing around in phpmyadmin and found a template table w/ these corrisponding templates or tables. can i just deleate these via phpmyadmina nd will it remove the template?

I wouldn't do that if I were you. To get rid of custom templates you will need to "Revert" the template this will delete them, (make sure you are doing this from the Parent Style and not any Child styles). Reverting a default vBulletin template should return it the default vBulletin code without any modifications. You can always just add a new style with no parent styles which will give you a totally clean base to start from again.

they are not revertable.

When you are Creating New Styles are you selecting the "Parent Style: No Parent Style" option?

yes... some of these hacks are very old and unistalled w/ files deleated. yet everytime i add a style the old template is added and there is no option to revert.

i can see the templates for these hacks still in database.

Hmm try disabling all your modifications and creating a new style. Its odd that these templates are being added to new styles. Maybe mods were done differently before I started using vB so someone else may be able to help you more.
