Cannot save user options

Hi,
In the AdminCP I select Users then New Registrations. I select a user, set the options and submit. I end up with this error:

The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

This seems to only occur in this area of the panel. I've had the hosting company check this out on the MySQL server, but they indicate no problems there. Any ideas? Thanks!

Sounds like it could be a php timeout issue.

Chk your info.php for php timeout settings, the script may be taking to long and the host has the settings to low for a php script to execute in a timely fashion.

where do I check info.php? Also, if this were the issue, wouldn't it affect other options? I did just use the diagnostics. I attempted to upload a small text file and received the same error. Thanks.

I also just attempted to upload an xml file via the Manage Products panel, again with the same error. Thanks again.

Check your webserver errorlog, you will most likely find the cause of the error there.

The server error is as follows:

[Wed Nov 14 14:08:05 2007] [error] [client 82.214.224.7] request failed: error reading the headers, referer: http://www.originalinfidelsmc.com/bu...p?do=edit&u=68

Does anyone know if this is a problem with the board, or with the server? Thanks. I have six new members to setup and can't until I get this problem resolved.
