Get the HTML allowed variable

Hi,

im just quite confused about a the HTML allowed variable for a plugin i'm trying to write.

So the Question is just simple, which Variable do i have to change at my Plugin to allow direct HTML code in a Post?

I tryed

$do_html = '1'

But that doesn't seems to be working.

Any Ideas?
