Help With Showthread Alignment Issue
1 Attachment(s)
Sorry if this is in the wrong place. I just noticed this today. I was logged in with my test account, and noticed that the thread table is not aligned properly. Everything is fine when I am logged in as myself (admin account).
Sorry for the poor description. See the attached screenshots for clarification. Does anyone know what i need to do to correct this? Thanks for your help. |
It could be several issues ranging from colspan, inlinemod (checkbox), postbit wrapper, postbit Table, side column...
If you're viewing as a guest do you still get that problem? |

Any idea what I can look for to correct the problem? Thanks --------------- Added [DATE]1194487587[/DATE] at [TIME]1194487587[/TIME] --------------- does anyone have an idea where I can look? This is ot a huge deal, but I would like to fix it. |
Just for kicks temporarily remove your side column and see if your postbit then aligns with the upper postbit bar. If the misalignment still exists then the problem is more likely with the choices I gave in post #2. To problem solve, we can go through each of the choices.

Thanks for your help Freesteyelz. I disabled the side column, and still had the same issue.
Sorry for the ignorance. I do not know this stuff too well, but I am trying/willing to learn. |
NP at all. We'll figure this out. :)
We now know it's not with the side column. So let's move to the postbit template (only if you have modified it in any way). Can you please post it and I'll try to duplicate the misalignment. |
OK. It does it in both postbit, and postbit and postbit_legacy. SO here are both templates:
Postbit: Code:
<if condition="THIS_SCRIPT=='private' && is_member_of($post, 5, 6, 7)"> Again, thanks for your help. |
Postbit Legacy:
Code:
<if condition="THIS_SCRIPT=='private' && is_member_of($post, 5, 6, 7)"> |
I think i know what the issue is, if your staff on the forum, youll have that side bit where it lets you select the post to edit, delete etc, i had same issue on my forum and never realised til someone pointed it out to me....I don't know how to fix it, but im 100% sure its that bit.
