hiding restricted sections
 

Regarding particular section..........

i want to display only section not subsection to usergroup who aren't allowed to access that section.

i tried in forum permissions and set no to all options but still users who haven't access can see section and subsection.

i want to display only section not sub sections under it.

and if i don't want to display even section and subsection both then?

already used and set all no to unregister usergroup for particular section.
but unregiustered users/not loggecin can see section's name. [and even subsectrion under it]

how to hide them?

In your Forum Manager, you can set it so those without permission can't see those...look at my screenshot:

Go to VBulletin Options in your Admin CP, Forum Listings Display Options, Depth of Forums.

i wwant to show names of public subsections and sections.

but i was asking regarding private sections i made..i want to show only main section name and no subsection names in that private section.
