Need to change the Vbulletin header to my own
Need to change the Vbulletin header to my own - sorry Vbulletin, just need to get my own website name there - it can be the same font and such but I need to change it from Vbulletin to my domain name...
i searched but I dont now what Im looking for :) |
Just make your own image to put in it's place. Make your image, upload it to your site, and then go to your Admin CP > Styles&Templates > Style Manager > find your style and select StyleVars from the drop-down and then change the path to the image under Image Paths > Title Image.

How do you upload it to the site? I created a Gif/jpg/bmp and I want to replace Vbulletin name - exactly where do you upload the file, so you can find it as mentioned in your post - thank you again for responding |

Im not finding the area to upload you speak of -using 3.6.8 is this different or is the layout different? |
These are basics of HTML. Exactly why are you running a website and don't have a webmaster to do this work for you then?
Use something like Filezilla to upload the image to any directory. Find out the full path to the picture and then replace the old path with the new path. Alternatively, you can just replace the old vBulletin image with the new one. |
The default image path is "images/misc/vbulletin3_logo_white.gif", so a good place to put the new image would be in "images/misc". However, some people like to put folders in their images folder that relates to their style and then have the whole group of vbulletin folders listed in there for each style. If you are not doing that, then the path I first specified should be fine (and you can always change it later).
