A Way to Highlight Particular Threads as "Official"
 

I'm interested in a way to have certain threads be marked as official. I run a forum with a subforum that features many different threads where people request legal live mp3 downloads.

In order to keep down duplicate requests, (i.e. the same song requested over and over) we merge and point people towards a specific existing thread that contains download links.

I'd like for these threads to show up with some kind of highlight in the forum view, and also when they search. This might be soemthing like showing a little image badge next to the thread title or just having the background of the table cell for that thread be a different color.

Is anyone aware of a hack that would do something like this?

Here is the forum in question. You can see just about any thread with (merged) in the title I'd like to give greater visibility to.
