Improve activity
Me and another admin are running a forum (www.Admin-Utopia.com) that is starting to dwindle in activity. It was going solid up until now, but has started to seriously decline. We need ways to try and boost our activity again, we have tried posting a LOT more but that doesn't seem to help at all either.
We have gone through inactive periods before, but this is different. In the past, members have still come on, just didn't post. Now, members aren't coming on, or posting. Any ideas on how to raise our activity levels? |
Anyone have any ideas?

run a pron board :) - its amazing how it attracts members

you can't boost a forum just by advertising it or telling people to post.. you have to have a team that participate, some geeks, or something... you have a site for admins... do you have tools for admins ?!

Make some more accounts, get two postin' , Sounds crappy but it will help.

run a contest.

I agree running a contest is a good idea.
Have you done any social networking ? Try submitting some of the threads to sites like furl, reddit, digg, stumbleupon, etc, etc... :) |
