Go into the Stylevar editor, and adjust...
HTML Code:
Spacer Size (pixels) (Spacing between the body border and the main content) HTML Code:
Outer Border Width (pixels) (This value specifies the width in pixels of the outer-border of all colored tables) |
amazing thanks
edit: they're staying the same width >.< weird... |
It's a page margin/padding issue, as the top table and navbar has the default margin/padding, where the other tables it's completely missing.
Recheck the templates again (by the looks of it FORUMHOME and POSTBIT (Legacy)) for the placement of the closing </table> or </div> tags (if you edited or moved around the tables any). As that can happen if the end tag was placed higher than it's true termination (especially true with div table wrappers). With all the nested tables, it's very easy to place a tag in the wrong place as the tables can look so similar. |
i'm comparing the default code with the code that i have however i am unable to see the difference :S. if you have a little bit of spare time could you help with pointing it out? thanks
this is my postbit_legacy Code:
$template_hook[postbit_start] |
this is my forumhome
Code:
$stylevar[htmldoctype] |
If you can, can you post the stylesheet? Can't tell the widths otherwise.
Oh, god, who thought of this bright scheme as coding? HTML Code:
$stylevar[cellspacing]px solid |

oh man, now i see this as being a problem too :S where can i go to find the whole stylesheet to post? |
<i>This really shouldn't be an issue, truly. Hacking away trying to find one tag somewhere in a sea of nest tables that is wrong........sigh.</i>
Go into the ACP>>vBulletin Options>Styles and Language Settings>>Store CSS Stylesheets as Files>> and click Yes and save the settings. Then go into the CSS Manager>>Main CSS and just click the Save button a-l-l the way down on the bottom. It'll then store it externally in the clientstyles/vbulletin_css folder. Copy and paste that stylesheet here. |
hey i did what you said and it doesnt save the file in the vbulletin_css folder :S
