How can I make my forum pages static for search engines rather than dynamic?

Please, although this may be irredeemably newbieish, but so be it. Any help greatly appreciated!

I am told it is a module or hack that turns the dynamic pages of forum to static SE optimized ones.

Seriously, I think vBulletin get indexed well enough as they are, only a few months ago I launched a forum, which quickly got a pagerank of 4 and all the pages indexed, without changing anything in the code, just make sure all pages are reachable and the archieve enabled.
