how do i make my postbit into a "bubble" style?
 

i want to make my postbit have a speech bubble effect, look at this for an example of what i mean:

as you can see, theres a speech bubble that looks like its being said by the avatar....this is such a neat effect, does any one know how to do this?

They're using a javascript for that effect.

And using it to replace the default quote system with it (probably replacing it with the script tags within the quote template).

It looks like both the bubbles and the postbit switching are part of their "NuLook" package. More info on it is here:

right....and does anyone have this javascript? or know how to make a similar effect? I don't want to buy the nulook package, and besides it has tons of other stuff that'll just slow a big board down...

I am interested in the bubbles other stuffs make problem for my forum on the other hand the price is not reasonable! very funny indeed

you can use a combination of <if> conditionals for even and odd post numbers along with right-left postbit legacy styling..

I am not sure which <if> conditional is used to point to odd and even but a little search will help you out..

Posts with even post number would go to the right side and those with odd post number to the left.

I know it sounds too geeky, but you probably get the idea behind this..
