Stop the Force:
 

Wondering if theres already an addon or something for this. When you visit a forum that you've already seen, the forum forces you to the bottom of the page. I've searched and found nothing and don't really know what to search for.. I tried relative terms but to no avail. I want that "force" to stop. If I reply to a picture thread with several pictures or go to a different page, i want to be able to look through them all and not have the forum force me to the newest/ bottom post.. any ideas? thanks!

This is a feature. You'd have to modify the URL linking to the page so it doesn't happen. In the meantime, just hit the "home" key on your keyboard.

It's there to take you to the newest unread post...because if you have already seen some of the pictures in the thread you don't want to look through them all again. To be honest I wouldn't see a reason to remove it really, don't forget to think about your users too. I would get annoyed at having to scroll to the newest unread post on every thread I viewed.
